II Edition of T-Systems Connection | UGR · ETSIIT

I had the honor of opening the II Edition of the T-Systems Connection program at the auditorium of ETSIIT, University of Granada, with over 100 students in the room. The program is a consolidated partnership through the Chair of Innovation in Sustainable Digitalization, which articulates the collaboration between UGR and T-Systems Iberia.

The institutional opening was led by Francisco Ruiz (Value Center Line Manager at T-Systems) and J. Alberto Aragón Correa (full professor at UGR and director of the Chair), who framed the program as an engine for innovation and talent development. As Head of AI Engineering at T-Systems I delivered the keynote, "AI and language in a distributed world," walking the audience through how language models are being applied to real systems and why critical perspective matters as much as technical depth.

The session continued with a panel including José Luis Garrido Bullejos (full professor at UGR), Francisco Ruiz, and myself, moderated by J. Alberto Aragón Correa, where students could connect directly with both academia and industry profiles. Many thanks to UGR's Talent Incubator and to the T-Systems Iberia team for keeping this bridge between university and industry alive.
